About Al Madina Mosque (Barking)
Al Madina Mosque is run by the Barking Muslims Association, a charitable incorporated organisation. The Victoria Road complex has three buildings: the mosque, an Ofsted-registered school and a community centre with a sensory room, food bank, restaurant, sports hall and wellness room.
The association says it has worked in the area for more than 30 years. It won British Beacon Mosque awards in 2018 and 2019, including Best Women's Service in 2019.
