How can a Muslim charity contact UK Prayer Times?
Email [email protected] with your charity name, website, registration details and a short outline of your campaign. You can prepare an email enquiry on this page. An enquiry does not commit you to a paid partnership.
How many charities can join the programme?
Featured is capped at 12 active partners and Premier at 4. Caps keep each placement valuable — a homepage or Ramadan slot shared by four charities is worth far more than one shared by forty. Partner profile pages themselves are unlimited; the caps only apply to the paid placements.
What happens if a tier is full when we apply?
You join the waitlist at no cost and we contact you as soon as a slot opens, in the order you applied. We never oversell a capped tier — if we say four Premier partners, there are four.
Does paying change where our charity appears in listings or editorial?
No. Editorial content — prayer times, guides and answers — is never for sale, and mosque listings are unaffected. Paid partnership adds a rich profile and clearly labelled placement only.
Do you process donations for our charity?
Never. Every donate button leaves UK Prayer Times and opens your charity's own donate page. We never handle, hold or take a cut of donations — gifts go directly through your own fundraising setup.
Is there a minimum term?
Yes — so a capped placement keeps its value for every partner. Featured has a 6-month minimum; Premier has a 12-month minimum. After the minimum term the partnership rolls monthly and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Your profile page stays live (unpaid, clearly labelled) even if you leave the paid placement.
Who can apply to be a charity partner?
Any UK-registered charity. We verify every applicant against the relevant Charity Commission, OSCR or CCNI register before a profile goes live, and we reserve the right to decline organisations that do not fit our community standards.
What does the donate button on our profile actually do?
It opens your charity's own donation page in a new tab. Visitors see a clear notice that they are leaving UK Prayer Times, so there is never any confusion about who receives their gift.
Is paid placement labelled as such?
Always. Partner placements carry a visible "Paid charity partner" label wherever they appear, and donate links are marked as outbound sponsored links. Readers can always tell what is paid placement.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes — annual billing gives you two months free on either tier. Featured is £1,290 a year (rather than £1,548) and Premier is £2,990 (rather than £3,588).
Does a donation change prayer times or mosque listings?
No. A reader contribution covers hosting and the daily rebuild. It never buys a listing, a calculation method, a mosque’s rank, or an editorial answer. Paid charity partners only get a labelled profile and capped placements.
Is a contribution to UK Prayer Times Zakat?
Treat it as a voluntary gift to keep a free public tool online, not as Zakat. Zakat has specific Quranic categories. Use the Zakat calculator, then give through a registered charity you trust.
How do I support the site as a reader?
Use the Stripe one-off contribution on the Support page. No UK Prayer Times account is needed; the contribution opens Stripe. If the amount is wrong for you, skip it — the times stay free either way.
