About City Jamia Masjid (Islamic Academy of Manchester)
The Islamic Academy of Manchester is one of Manchester's oldest Islamic organisations. For 40 years it was based in the former Sunday School of the Welsh Baptist Chapel on Upper Brook Street, Ardwick, before building City Jami' Masjid, a purpose-built mosque on Stockport Road. Its car park is reached from South Street.
