About UKIM Sparkbrook Islamic Centre & Masjid
Sparkbrook Islamic Centre is one of Birmingham's major Islamic centres, serving the large Muslim community of Sparkbrook and surrounding areas including Sparkhill, Small Heath, and Balsall Heath. This area of south Birmingham has one of the highest concentrations of Muslim residents in the UK outside London.
The centre provides five daily prayers, multiple Friday Jumu'ah sessions, Islamic education, madrasah classes, youth programmes, and community welfare services. Sparkbrook Islamic Centre serves a predominantly Pakistani Muslim community and is an important anchor institution in this part of Birmingham.
