About Bordesley Jamia Masjid

Bordesley Jamia Masjid is one of Birmingham's oldest and most historic mosques, established during the 1960s when the first generation of South Asian Muslim migrants settled in the Bordesley and Small Heath areas of the city. The mosque serves the Muslim community of Bordesley, Small Heath, and Digbeth — areas of central Birmingham with a long-established Muslim presence.

The mosque provides five daily prayers, multiple Friday Jumu'ah sessions, Islamic education, and community services. It is an important institution in one of Birmingham's most historic Muslim neighbourhoods.
