About Nottingham Islam Information Point & Masjid e Quba

Nottingham Islam Information Point is a registered charity (no. 1147992) founded in 1997 to convey the message of Islam to the wider public of Nottingham. It is best known for its da'wah (outreach) work, running information points in the city centre and using exhibitions, leaflets, transport advertising and one-to-one dialogue to address misconceptions about Islam.

Its premises and masjid are at 1 Bovill Street in the Radford area, in a building that was formerly the Moulders Arms pub, converted by the community into a centre serving both Muslims and non-Muslims that also functions as a place of prayer. It is affiliated to the Nottingham Council of Mosques.

The centre operates across several floors, with a youth centre, an Islamic exhibition and gallery, a sisters' lounge, and an Arabic and Islamic school. Activities include a weekend youth centre, homework club, Qur'anic and Arabic classes, ladies' activities and ESOL courses, plus welfare projects such as a soup kitchen, shower facilities for the homeless, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation advice. It is listed within the Salafi / Ahl al-Hadith strand of Sunni Islam.
