Jamia Ghosia Mosque Prayer Times & Jummah

Jamia Ghosia Mosque (also known as Jamia Ghousia Masjid / Jamia Ghosia Masjid) is a Sunni mosque in the Barelvi tradition located at 98-99 Chester Street in central Blackburn, Lancashire. It is run by the registered charity Jamia Ghosia Association (Charity Commission no. 518757), whose governing trust deed is dated 26 February 1987. The charity's stated area of operation is "Blackburn and its environs," and its purpose is to advance the Islamic faith as practised by the Sunni Muslim community in the Blackburn area and to relieve poverty and hardship among community members in that region.

The organisation operates as both a place of worship and an educational institution. According to its Charity Commission records, it "provides a place of worship to hundreds of people" and offers facilities for Islamic and Quranic studies for all age groups, with religious instruction overseen by volunteer trustees. The mosque is associated with the Ghosia Academy, which provides Islamic education (madrasah) for children and adults.
