About Masjid Khadijah & Islamic Centre

The mosque was started in 1986 in a small house on Cromwell Road and has expanded several times since; after about 20 years of growth it now fills the land between two houses and their shared garden. It is a branch of the UK Islamic Mission.

The mosque holds two Friday congregations. It has said that worshippers still regularly spill onto the pavement and that space for women is limited, and it is fundraising for a larger, purpose-built mosque.
