Ghousia Mosque (Peterborough) Prayer Times

Jamia Masjid Ghousia is a Sunni mosque located at 406 Gladstone Street in central Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. It serves the local Muslim community and is run by the registered charity "Masjid Ghousia Jamia Markaz Ahl-E-Sunnat Wah-Jamaat (Peterborough)" (Charity Commission no. 1131838), which was entered on the register of charities on 25 September 2009. The charity's stated objects are to promote Islam according to Hanafi and Barelvi doctrines through prayers, meetings, lectures, public celebrations, religious festivals and religious education, and to maintain the masjid and its religious educational centres.

The mosque hosts the five daily congregational prayers and the Friday (Jummah) prayer. Sermons and lectures are delivered during the week, and according to secondary listings these are given in Urdu and English. The mosque describes itself as valuing diversity, open-mindedness, civic engagement and community building.

Alongside worship, the mosque runs Islamic education for the community. It operates a Madrassah and the "Madina Gateway Academy", and offers Qur'an classes for children from around 5 years of age as well as after-school Islamic classes for boys and girls. The mosque is also known as "Markazi Jamia Mosque Ghousia Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat" in some directories.
