About Cheetham Hill Mosque (Madina Masjid)
Madina Masjid in Cheetham Hill is one of Manchester's long-established mosques, serving the Muslim community in the Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall areas since 1971.
Cheetham Hill has historically been one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in Manchester, with communities from across South Asia, the Middle East and East Africa. The mosque provides the five daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha congregations, and taraweeh throughout Ramadan.
The mosque runs an Islamic school and madrasah for children in the local area and is involved in community welfare activities supporting Muslim families in north Manchester.
