About Jamia Masjid Bilal (Huddersfield)
Jamia Masjid Bilal in Huddersfield town centre is one of Huddersfield's established mosques, founded in 1970 to serve the city's growing South Asian Muslim community. Located close to Huddersfield town centre, the mosque serves Muslims from across Huddersfield and the Kirklees area.
The mosque provides the five daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid congregations and taraweeh throughout Ramadan, and runs Islamic education and community welfare programmes for Muslim families in the area.
