About Coventry Mosque (Eagle Street)
According to the Victoria County History of Coventry, a mosque was founded in Eagle Street in 1960 and registered for public worship by Sunni Muslims in 1961, making it one of the earliest mosques in the city. In 1966 it had room for about 100 people.
