About Worcester Islamic Centre

Al-Madina Jami Masjid, which brands itself as Worcester's Islamic Centre, has served the city's Muslim community for over 30 years from its site on Tolladine Road in the Arboretum area. It is the largest congregational mosque in Worcester, with more than 1,200 men and women attending the weekly Friday Jummah service and a community representing over 62 nationalities. The masjid follows the Sunni–Deobandi tradition and is Bangladeshi-led, and it is a registered charity (no. 703065). Alongside daily prayers it runs a weekend Islamic school (madrasah) and offers marriage, funeral and Shahada services.
