About Walsall Aisha Mosque & Islamic Centre
Walsall Aisha Mosque and Islamic Centre in the Pleck area of Walsall is one of the principal mosques serving Walsall's Muslim community, established in 1976. Walsall's Muslim population has its roots primarily in Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities who settled in the Black Country in the 1960s and 1970s.
The mosque provides the five daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha congregations, and taraweeh throughout Ramadan, and runs Islamic education and community welfare programmes.
Walsall Aisha Mosque serves as an important hub for the spiritual life of Walsall's Muslim community, providing pastoral care, marriage and funeral services, and support for Muslim families across the town.
