About Swansea Mosque & Islamic Community Centre
Swansea Mosque and Islamic Centre on St Helen's Road is the principal mosque serving Swansea's Muslim community, which includes South Asian families, Arab students and workers, and converts. The mosque was established in 1969 and has served as the heart of Islamic community life in Swansea for over 55 years.
Located close to Swansea city centre, the mosque serves a congregation that includes students from Swansea University and University of Wales Trinity Saint David, alongside established community families.
The mosque provides the five daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid congregations and taraweeh throughout Ramadan, and is involved in interfaith dialogue and community engagement across South Wales.
