About Reading Central Jamme Masjid

Reading Central Jamme Masjid on Cardiff Road is one of the oldest and largest mosques in Reading, established in 1966 to serve the city's Muslim community which has grown significantly over subsequent decades.

Reading has a substantial Muslim population drawn from Pakistani, Bangladeshi and other South Asian backgrounds, as well as students from the University of Reading. The mosque provides daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid congregations and taraweeh throughout Ramadan.
