Quwwatul Islam Mosque Prayer Times

Quwwatul Islam Masjid (formally The Preston Muslim Society, Quwwatul Islam Masjid) is one of the longest-established and most active Islamic institutions in Lancashire, with roots in the Preston Muslim community dating back to 1970. It is located in the Deepdale area of Preston, on Peel Hall Street (PR1 6QQ), and operates as a combined mosque and education centre serving the local Muslim community.

The organisation is a registered charity (charity number 1158609, registered 18 September 2014) and an incorporated body (Companies House number 08814639). Its stated charitable objects are to advance the Islamic religion for public benefit by preserving Islamic culture, promoting religious education, providing mosque and educational facilities, and facilitating worship and religious ceremonies including weddings and funerals, with an area of operation across Lancashire.

Alongside the five daily congregational prayers, the centre runs a substantial madrasah and education programme. Published figures describe over 700 children and adults benefiting from its educational provision, with a mainstream supplementary curriculum for children aged roughly 4 to 16 covering the fundamentals of Islam in light of the Qur'an and Sunnah. A team of local scholars works alongside the imams to lead prayers, deliver weekly sermons, conduct marriage and funeral services, and provide community lectures.

The mosque also offers structured visits, welcoming schools and other organisations from across Lancashire who wish to learn about Islam, and has hosted large numbers of pupils across all key stages.
