About Paisley Central Mosque
Paisley Central Mosque is run by the Paisley Muslim Community Trust (PMCT), a Scottish registered charity (SC044603) constituted as a trust on 22 January 2014. Located on Wellmeadow Street in the heart of Paisley, close to the University of the West of Scotland and the town centre, it serves as the main mosque for the local Muslim community. The charity advances Islamic education in Arabic language and Islamic studies, maintains the place of worship, runs separate Quran and Islamic education classes for women, and supports community religious celebrations.
