About Kettering Mosque

Kettering Muslim Association (KMA) traces its origins to the early 1980s, with the earliest Islamic gathering recorded in 1982 involving no more than ten people. After more than two decades of effort to establish a permanent centre, the association purchased the building at 123 Headlands in 2008 and obtained planning permission for a faith-based community centre, which today operates as Masjid Al-Arqam. It is a registered charity (no. 1108873, registered 2005) serving roughly 500 Muslims of mixed Asian, Arab, African and European backgrounds, providing five daily prayers and Madrasah classes for boys and girls.
