Dua After the Adhan (Call to Prayer)
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and the highest rank, and raise him to the praised station that You have promised him. The Prophet ﷺ taught a specific supplication to be said immediately after listening to the adhan. He promised that whoever says this dua will be granted his intercession on the Day of Judgement — making it one of the most powerful and time-specific duas in Islam.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ
Transliteration
Allāhumma rabba hādhihi-d-daʿwati-t-tāmmah, wa-ṣ-ṣalāti-l-qāʾimah, āti Muḥammadan al-wasīlata wa-l-faḍīlah, wa-bʿath-hu maqāman maḥmūda-n-lladhī waʿadtah.
Translation
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and the highest rank, and raise him to the praised station that You have promised him.

When to recite
- Immediately after the adhan ends — before the iqamah begins.
- After each of the five daily adhans and the Jummah adhan.
- Also send salawat on the Prophet ﷺ after the adhan.
