About Derby Jamia Mosque
Derby Jamia Mosque began in the late 1970s as Derby's first mosque, in modest premises on Dairyhouse Road. As the community grew it moved to its main site on Rose Hill Street, which it says holds more than 4,000 worshippers. The organisation also runs sites on Village Street, Dairy House Road and Porter Road.
