About Bournemouth Central Mosque
Bournemouth Islamic Centre and Central Mosque (BICCM) is the main mosque in Bournemouth, occupying a distinctive pink building at 4 St Stephen's Road in the town centre. It was registered as a charity in England and Wales on 28 January 1994 (charity no. 1032058) to provide a place of worship and Islamic education for the local Muslim community, alongside acting as a community centre for both local and visiting Muslims. During 2021 the mosque was used as a COVID-19 vaccination centre serving the wider community.
