Check the mosque’s current timetable for jama’ah and Friday prayer. ## About Quwwat-ul-Islam Masjid The Quwwat-ul-Islam Society began in 1975 by hiring Trinity Church Hall on East Street, Manor Park, for Jummah prayers and a children's madrasah. It bought a property on the corner of Upton Lane and Skelton Road in 1984, and in 1986 it bought the warehouse at 62–66 Upton Lane where the mosque now stands. In 1999 the society bought land behind the mosque on Chaucer Road. It opened Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls' School (primary) there in 2003 and added a secondary school by 2005. In 2006 it started a seven-year evening alimah course for girls.
