London does not use a fixed astronomical angle for Fajr. Instead, mosques follow the London Unified Prayer Timetable (LUPT), adopted in 2011 by Hizbul Ulama UK and the Central Moon Sighting Committee. Its Fajr times come from moonsighting-committee observation tables.

Generic apps that use Muslim World League (18°) or ISNA (15°) often differ from London mosque times by several minutes to over an hour in summer, because at London’s latitude the sun may not reach those angles.

Always confirm iqamah (congregation) time with your local mosque — the times we publish are prayer start times, not when the congregation begins.
